The recent improvements in the field of technology and science helps to build more reliable batteries which improves the charging capacities and power per kg of battery (KWh) these modern batterys offer more advantages than the previous generation batteries like fast charging capablities, high range , stable power delivery and safer usage . The scientists believe there is still more room to grow if the infraustructure and supporting technologies grow in the future

The initial cost of buying a EV is high but the cost of electricity which is used as a fuel to these is significantly lower than the cost of gasoline also these EVs consists of fewer parts than a traditional automobile leading in very minimum maintanance costs , such benefits can be really game changing on a customers point of view.

The greatest lack in the technology of EVs is the lack of charging stations since the charging stations network is not as dense as the gasoline network with the increased no of people buying EVs the charging stations infraustructure as to be developed and more faster each vehicle charges the more advantageous it is.

Home charging stations is a another key solution that could help people to switch to EVs.

Future Outlook

On the long run, the technology offers many benefits and promises a sustainable cleaner future but it also has some of the disadvantages such as harder to recycle, more complex infrastructure to produce , harder to repair locally these are the problems that require a serious solution
