This article is about a travel experience of Nainital & Jim Corbett with Mukteshwar. The lake city Nainital, wildlife Jim Corbett and amazing hill station of Mukteshwar is best to explore on a weekend trip from Agra.
Day 1: Arrival In Jim Corbett National Park
Firstly we go for wildlife safari in the park. The place offers a lot to those who wish to look at nature closer. The park’s wildlife includes the tiger, leopard, sloth bear, jungle cat, fishing cat, wild boar, langur, rhesus monkeys. Then we return back and stay overnight in Jim Corbett.
Day 2: Drive to Mukteshwar
Then, on the way to Mukteshwar, we visited Bhimtal. We sat there beside the lake and had breakfast. Then we proceeded with the boating and Aquarium cafe which is located within the lake on a very small Island. Then, on our way to Mukteshwar we also visited Bhalugaad waterfall in the afternoon which was near by to our stay in Mukteshwar. But it did not met our expectation as did not had any water flowing in the waterfall and was limited to just a small pond only. Generally, the water flow is heavy during monsoon time. So, ideally this is the best time to visit this waterfall. Then, we visited the mukteshwar Dham temple and Chauli ki Jali. Then, we came back to zostel and had dinner and played games.
We stayed overnight in mukteshwar. Next morning, we waked up around 5:30 in the morning and had the majestic experience of the sunrise from our room which was one of the best experiences I had during the trip.
Day 3: Drive to Nainital
Next morning, we reached Nainital. We enjoy the day at an scenic location.First we visited Hanuman gadi Temple. We Explored the town, visited Naina Devi Temple near Naini Lake. Then, at last we ended our trip by visiting the mall road and Shopped for souvenirs at the local market.
Overall, it was a great experience and was worth visiting for 3 days. As normally short trips are very hectic due to time limitation but this was not the case in this trip as we had enjoyed a lot during the trip and it was not at all chaotic and in the same time it was very relaxing as well.
