Marketing:- It means to estimating the client requirement and than to improve the commodity according to the client requirements than to sell the commodity to clients and giving after sales services to clients for to satisfy them. The marketing and selling are not same thing. The reason behind is that selling simply means to selling the commodity whereas marketing means estimating the client requirement and than to manufactured the commodity according to client requirement than to sell the commodity to clients and also provide after sales service to clients and satisfy them and achieve client satisfaction.

 

Traits of marketing

(I) Helps in bringing client retention:- The marketing is done after keeping in mind the client requirement so the commodity is which is manufactured that satisfied the client requirement and once the clients get satisfied that they come back again for to purchasing the commodities from the same place which bring client retention.

 

(II)Endless function:- Once the commodity is manufactured and sold to client than the next step which is taken by businessman is that he provide customer support to his clients so that he gain client satisfaction. Once the clients get satisfied by after sales service than the businessman ask for review about his commodity from the client. If the review is negative than businessman started to working on his commodity so that commodity will be improved than the businessman again sale the commodity to same clients than he provide customer support for to gain satisfaction so in this way marketing is endless function.

 

 

Different marketing concept 

Production concept:- According to this concept the businessman concentrate on manufacturing commodity at large amount at large area  at a low price and at an ideal location for clients  because in this concept the businessman think that when the production will be done at large amount so the requirement of resources will be more for making final commodity and if the requirement of resources will be more so it would increase fixed cost and if fixed cost increases so it is necessary to reduce variable cost so for that the businessman find cheap labor for his work and once cheap labor is available then it reduces variable cost which ultimately reduces the cost of each commodity. In this concept clients are also would like purchase those commodity which is available at their nearby location at low price.

Product concept:- According to this concept the businessman concentrate on quality of commodity because in today’s time peoples are quality conscious so the businessman think that if the commodity does not have high quality then the clients do not want to purchase the commodity so the businessman manufacture the commodity with high quality.

Selling concept:- According to this concept the businessman concentrate on selling of commodity because in this concept the businessman think that business is not possible if the selling is not done effectively so on this concept the businessman give lot of effort on selling of commodity so for that he also doing those activities which boost the selling.

Societal concept:- According to this concept the the businessman do business after keeping in mind the society welfare and adopt those technologies for his commodities which do not harm to the society and also do those tasks which is good for the society.

Marketing concept:- According to this concept the businessman concentrate client requirement because in this concept the businessman think that business is possible when the clients are satisfied with commodity. The reason behind is that once the client get satisfaction then they come back again for to purchase the commodity which untimely increase the sales and if the sales increasing then the profit also increase so in this concept the businessman concentrate on client requirement.
